Cursor disappears after using Block Editor
« on: November 21, 2011, 12:19:12 PM »
Has anyone had the problem of using the Block editor and once closed the cursor disappears.

If you hover over an entity it will still 'highlight' and the cursor appears while over the ribbon or the command prompt, but nowhere else.
If I close and reopen the drawing then it shows back up.

Using 2012 vanilla 64bit

I have not experienced this behavior... double check that your crosshair color is correct in Options.

I use a command reactor to change the color of our crosshairs when activating a viewport from paperspace; not that you do the same.

Jeff, have you installed SP1? This was supposed to have been fixed with SP1. Another way to get back the missing crosshairs, move the mouse until over the Viewport/View/Visual style controls in the upper left corner of the drawing window (they highlight when you do so you will know), the crosshairs should magically return.

I thought I had SP1 installed but I will double check and trying your fix I noticed it only happens in paperspace and switching to model and back brings the crosshairs back.
Thanks Jeff and Renderman!
