FWIW -- Buffalo has been around a while, in the NAS, backup, and switch business IIRC

I got the Seagate yesterday and in the process of setting it up. 


First time doing something like this so it was kicking my butt yesterday afternoon but I did get it to work.  The software that comes with it was easily to set up the drive as a server but I hard a wicked hard time trying to map TO it.  However the software had the tools to push the mapping to the local computer.

 I love OJT with no instructor.   :roll:
