I need to find the volume of a partial cone. I use the 3d cone I need, but now I need to know how I can cut two side sections out of that 3d cone and then be able to determine the volume of the remaining cone. Can anyone help? Autocad 14.

I am sure there is a formula for it, but instead of re-inventing the wheel, model the cone in 3dsolid, slice the side as you need, then list the solid. You should be able to get a volume then

Good idea on adding "Solved" to the end of your subject, Mhillis.  That helps others who might be experiencing the same problem and have come here to search for it....
