XP Mode (Virtual) sharing program across multiple users

Greg B:
Hello,

Thought I'd through this out to the community for ideas and feedback.

We have been upgrading our systems in the office and have just started to get 64 bit system to take full advantage of the memory we've been putting into the system as well as to stay up to date.

Our ERP system is old.  It does not work on a 64-bit system so in the meantime before we upgrade to a newer ERP system we are installing it in virtual XP mode.  After getting past a few problems with getting it installed, we've figured it out, but now have run into another bit of a problem.

If a user (User A) signs onto Windows 7 and sets up XP Mode and installs the ERP system, anybody that logs onto the XP mode through the User A windows 7 profile can use the ERP.

If another user (User B) signs onto Windows 7, they then have to set up a new XP Mode and install the ERP system.  This isn't horrible if we only had 1 - 2 users per computer, but with multiple shifts the computers can and will be used by multiple people.

My question is this:

Is there a way to integrate the XP modes of all the Windows 7 users so that our ERP system would only have to be installed once?

Thanks for your comments!

Greg

This was basically the answer I had found before reading your post.  I'll be doing it shortly and I'll let everyone know the outcome.

Thanks RJP!
