Creating lisp repositories

Hello All,
I have some generic functions.
I would like to create a lisp bank that facilitates finding with keywords and extracts the particular function.
Any Ideas
to make this simple.
one more hurdle that I was seeing is how to store the lisp or put it in a format that makes our work later easily.

Hi Subbup:
I use to gather all my subroutines on a separate file , I call it
DEFUNBASE , and it is loaded when vlide is loaded , so when I submit to it ,it work.
Maybe it could be a good manner to do a index of them .
