Posting code

(1/2) > >>

Mark:
As a general rule I'd prefer not to see code posted directly in a thread unless you are the author of that code. The prefered method is to post a link to the authors website if one exists. This gives credit where credit is due and also generates traffic to that persons site.

Thanks.

Dent Cermak:
so now, me and T-Bear have to remember where we stole....er, got all of this code?  :-o

Andy Hudson:
What if we don't have the website where we got it from.

Can we still post it? I love this smilie.

Se7en:
I vote yes. In that you at least try (attempt) to give credit where credit is due. Post a screen name or anything you know about the orgins.

Mark,
Andrea has a program under the "Block Manager" posting. Is it ok to post it? How?
I believe he is the author, but I don't know if he has a personal site
