Has anyone out there had any experiences with RapidE from Pattern Systems? This third party software for Autocad was supposed to be a killer add-on that primarily deals with 32MM wood cabinetry systems. like the pharmacy cabinetry at HyVee, Walgreens, etc.. This software is suposed to simplify drawing in 3D, while compiling a killer database, and aid in communicating with CNC equipment. We've had this for a year and it's still nowhere near doing what it has been claimed to do. We've been in constant contact with their support teams, received many many fixes, and (2) new releases. We have tested over and over again. Many times a new fix actually screws up older fixes. This has been a real nightmare. We (the drafters) wanted to toss this out the window months ago, but because several key people put their butts on the line to get this approved, we're still fighting this turd.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience or knows a better system, I would like the hear about it. Many thanks.
