To whom it may concern,

I have a drawing full of blocks (which are the same but displayed on different layouts) with attributes.  If I want to change the attribute data by going into the block editor, making and saving the change. Question, is there a way to update this attribute data change without deleting and re-inserting the block? any help appreciated

I don't think so. You would have to edit the default value in addition to the input value.

It might be possible with a lisp routine but I'm not familiar with lisp.

If you were going into the block editor as stated in your first post, then it would work.
