Afternoon all,

Just wondering if anyone has come across a program to highlight text. ie Halo it. Ive a large map background with coloured text on top of it, as a result the text doesnt stand out as much as i would want to?
Mapinfo has a great text editor which will allow you to halo the text with a colour specified?

Anyone ideas?

Ahhh okay.  Sorry, don't know of anything that would show like that other than building a block with an attribute "above" a solid hatch, but I'm not shure how that would plot.

AutoCAD 2005 has the background mask feature for mtext.
The feature does basically what your example shows.  It places a solid (any colour you wish) behind the text.

I not sure if this features is avaiable in any of the older versions thou.

Hope it helps.
