Topic: lofting?

upon hitting the loft key the command line reads: select cross sections in lofting order: when i start at the bottom after hitting the first circle and go to the next higher circle the first circle goes out and highlights the top one, any ideas?

just finish picking them in the right order, then pick your path or guide curves...and see what you get

take a 1' circle at 00 elev. and a 10" circle at +6" elev. and a 6" circle at +1' elev.. To loft this i have to start with either the bottom or the top circle and give it the lofting order. when i start with the bottom circle and click on it, it is highlighted but when i go to the next one in the order, i click on it and it highlights but the first one goes out.  I'm wondering why the first one goes out. And if i click on the third one the middle one goes out, and so on. just wondering if i made it easier to follow?

What do you mean "goes out" ?

It might be just how the routine runs.  Do my next most commonly offered answer to questions around the office "Keep going and let's see what happens!"

Don't be scared.  Keep selecting the next sections.

Ok so that rules out my first thought, that it's just a visual/graphics SNAFU.

what is "PICKADD" set to?

i just tried to select 3 rectangles to change the color and it won't let me select but one at a time. it may be in the selection process where i'm having trouble.
