I know I've always been curious about these.  IIRC T-Bear swears by his Nostromo.  This deal is finally motivation to give one a whirl.  I'm convinced that it's the gamer market that's going to create the demand for such custom devices as this, so CAD operators are just going to have to suck it up and deal with the 'gamer' look.  ;)  I don't mind it.  I've been rocking an LED-lit gamer mouse by Razer for years and loving it.

I've always been a little skeptical of buying from a site like that or 1SaleADay.com.  Has anyone ever bought anything from there (and NOT had any problems)?

Just curious.

Bob Garner:
I used to absolutely love my Nostromo!  But I couldn't use one at work so I kept getting confused entering my commands by keyboard at work and the Nossy at home so I abandoned it for now.

I suggest you try it - it is so Borg that you will forget you are human and become one with the machine.

Woot is a good site. Buy all you want. :)

Yea, I just got a shipment of camping gear in the mail a bit ago when they had a package deal.

I've never heard of anyone having problems with Woot really.

I've heard of some MANUFACTURERS being bastards about their warranties, before. "OH You got it via Woot?  Yea, we only offer 1 year warranty on Woot-sold items, instead of 3 year" regarding a buddy's Robot vacuum thingy.

However, no idea how expansive that experience may be.  However, you will get your item so long as it's in stock when you buy it.  It's as safe as any other site I've ever dealt with.
