Really dumb question

What does AcMgd.dll stand for?  I know Ac stands for AutoCAD and .dll stands for dynamic link library.  And I know it is a component of the .net API.  What is the Mgd bit stand for?

Could it be Machined Generated Data?

The only other thing I can think of is Miller Genuine Draft but that is probably not it.

I promise to always ask genuine questions, even if they are a bit nerdly and academic like this one.  But thank you.  Knowing the meaning does help me remember them and what they do.  And I really couldn't find the answer anywhere else.
