How do I find all objects with ... ("better in the ARX group" ?)

Might get better response in the ARX group.

Hi everybody,

In line with the above quoted hint I am posting this link to the original thread in the .NET-forum. Please take a look at:
How do I find all objects with hard references to a given objectId?
Thank you!

You can do that with a help of dwgfiler. Look at sample ARXDBG (ArxDbgReferenceFiler.cpp) in ObjectARX SDK.

Thank you Alexander,

Unfortunately I don't know much about C++ (I am more at home in C#) and the example you referred to does not give me any clue of how to use dwgfiler (maybe I am too dumb to see it).

From my search on the web it seems that all the methods of dwgfiler are anyways abstract and therefore it looks as if I had to implement all of them myself, before I could use it. If that is true then I am again at the start because I would have to implement all the functionality myself anyway. Or do I overlook something here?

Could you post me an example or explain further about how to use dwgfiler? (Or is there a good explanation online? I did not find any really useful information.)

Thanks. Regards, Stephan
