Origin Entities, Entries... whatever
« on: December 16, 2010, 08:56:05 AM »
HERE I discovered some terminology, but have so far come up empty handed on what exactly they are in my various searches.  Would some kind code wizard explain what 'Origin entities' are and considerations needed to be addressed in codes?

Thank you.

Nibster, they didn't say Origin ENTITY. They said Origin ENTRY, which, I'm guessing, is in reference to the 2 Point parameters in the block. As gile noted, you shouldn't have to worry about it with his revised code.

Sorry Nibster. I was to lazy to check if it was entry or entity.
Please forgive me.

No problems.  Regardles of what anyone wrote compared with what I saw, am I still eligible for an explanation of what was going on?

If this is a common issue and I go down this path and learn some lithp, I'd like to know about issues before they make my hair go grey faster than usual.  The block example I submitted is a common and simple one compared to my usual fare, at least at my last job.

Hopefully a little constructive posting...
