Nope. AUGI never was (It was always going to fail). The fact that the database wasn't deleted, lost, whatever was never the concern or issue. Who cares what happened to it; what does it matter if it were locked away in the Smithsonian or deleted...the end result is the same.

Do you really want to stick with people who cant pull their head out or would you rather make your new home here and support our community. Here where WE have a voice. Here where WE have the utmost trust in our Admin.

Here... where we don't get feedback from the Navisworks development team.   :|  Its not the end-all, be-all, all-encompassing solution.  Besides, not having all the eggheads in one basket is a good thing.   ;-)

Without a quote, I can't tell who this is a reply to.
Or is there a way to view posts in a threaded format? Thanks.

Sorry, *I* like to add to the discussion more so then to reply to one person. I keep my posts vague and opened (apply a bit of: "if the shoe fits" kind of attitude...all in an effort to apply a bit of salt to people's pumpkins). If i get out of hand, or you dont follow, or cant keep up...just shout and i will try not to.

Just adds another level of proof that the world is run by `C' students.

/Announcer: And here we see the lemming. Let's watch as they migrate.
(and yes, i know the `lemmings falling to their death' is a myth; read between the lines)

I'm reminded of something my namma used to say.
'Thank goodness we're all different, imagine us all using the same soap.'

... perhaps something is lost in the translation.

John, I imagine this place may be too volatile for some people. :)

Nope, i understood (and i like that BTW). Oh i couldn't agree more and as i said before im thankful, in some respects, for AUGI.

On a kind of related note; Im hoping that my humor will do some sort of good.

EDIT: Oh and I hope you mind that when i used that saying that i say "My mamma" and not "Kerry's namma".

/HAL: I'm afraid. I'm afraid, Dave. Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm a... fraid. Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you.

Oh, I was making a leap (making an assumption) that people will be so happy that they get their avatar and "status" back they will overlook this little incident and not learn (I was just being pessimistic; building my wall so to speak).

I will try to keep deprecating humor to myself from now on.

Have you ever worked with someone just incompetent enough to make working with them misserable, but they weren't so incompetent that there wasn't enough reason to terminate their employment?  Can't demote them for same reason you can't fire them, but to get them out of harm's way, the only option left is to promote them.

My own version of a common phrase is: "Those who can't do, run for office."   :|

hehe. yeah can you imagine me in a position to fire someone? ...something tells me that it would shortly become a company of one.

For me, working with most people is miserable enough.
