blocks in a folder
« on: September 14, 2010, 01:15:22 PM »
I am trying to do a routine that goes through all of the blocks in a folder and executes a few commands.
I am now with a new company that uses different layers.
So go through, change layers, maybe explode and put it all on one layer.
fix scales, insertion points, etc.

Tim Spangler's block manager might work.

This might be better.
I want to
1. select a folder
2. lisp goes through all dwg files in the folder and executes a lisp.

That's it.

I think ronjonp posted a batch routine that did basically what you're looking for.  Some of the code would need to be revised to do EXACTLY what you want, but I remember the code allowing you to select a folder and it would process all of the DWGs within it.

I'll see if I can track down the thread.
