Today we pawned off all of our AutoCad seats to the big boys at Corporate and we have now gone totally over to Carlson.
We got 5 seats of Carlson Survey 2010 (built on the AutoCad Kernal) and 8 seats of Carlson Field 2010 for basically the same cost as just the office AutoDesk software.
We are saving software costs. We are doing more in the field in less time. We are turning out the final DWG file in MUCH less time than before PLUS the total price includes hands-on software training classes for both the office types AND the field crews by a guy tat actually knows the software and how to use it. He's the only instructor that I have used that hasn't left me feeling that I know more about the software than the instructor.
For a purely Surveying company, this is THE WAY to go.
