What did I Bump!?
« on: July 12, 2010, 09:22:08 am »
LT2008 - While I had a dwg open, I reached for my keyboard and 'bumped' my mouse. I'm not sure which button(s) I bumped but it brought up a window / menu, (kinda like if you right click on the taskbar), that had several options, one of which was 'covert MSpace to PSpace'.

I always thought that LT couldn't do this! So, I wrote a macro that moves everything from MSpace to PSpace.

Of course since I don't know which button(s) I bumped, I can't reproduce the menu. I could find no reference to this in the help file either.

Do any of you know what I may have bumped?    :?

sounds like you accidentally stroked the keyboard in such a way as to simulate using A)keyboard shortcut to activated the chspace command; B) if supported by LT, you stroked the keyboard alias for said chspace command.

nice job

Cool!

I wonder when they started including that in LT.

Thanks

After thinking about it and possibly 'refining' my macro to make it cleaner, I think I prefer mine.

It works well with my Batch program and so far has caused no issues.

^C^C_-layer;thaw;*;unlock;*;;copybase;0,0;all;;erase;all;;tilemode;0;^C^C_pasteblock;0,0;

I had hoped that their's was just one command and not a bunch of steps.
