Any chance anyone here has used Inventor Professional along with piping and Isogen?

I so wish...Inventor sure appears to be a really cool (practical) application.

It's a good parametric 3d solids modeler.

Not sure about 3d piping for plant design though.
Probably too much overhead and the file referencing doesn't seem to be a good fit.

AutoCAD itself usually works better for these types of systems.
Although AutoCAD is looking more and more like Inventor.

I was just trying to figure out if anyone has done any process piping with Inventor Professional using Isogen to see if it was a viable option.

Now you have found it.
I don't think the Piping Package in Inventor is good.
Useless - this is my word.
It seems that Autodesk dumps it to Inventor for making money without providing users the effective tools.
It is not the right application, surely.

BTW, Add-ons from the markets for AutoCAD are always better than the one shipped with AutoCAD.
