« on: November 23, 2004, 09:04:46 AM »
:D , Hi guys I am in need of help for my MSc.  I need opinions of Pro/Engineer wildfire, Catia v5 and solidworks v16.  I have to analyse customer feedback on them, so if I could get your opinions on any of the above that  you my use professionally or unprofessionally! General good and bad points or preferences of one over another would be great!

Thanks for your time  :? , Cheers!

We use EDS I-Deas NX which is a very good 3D modeling package.  But In the very near future this program will merge with Unigraphincs NX3.  Catia I think is a good surfacing program and has a difficult interface to use,  Pro-E  I just do not care for because of how the sales demonstrations That I have been to.  I think Solidworks is worth taking a look at and Unigraphics.  But this all depends on what you want to do with the software.
Good Day
