Hello,

My group does a lot of cutting and pasting from vendor drawings.
We end up with many blocks inside the drawing where the color,
weight, line type and plot style properties of the graphic pieces
inside the block are not By Layer but have been over written to a
specific property.

Some time ago I came across a LSP/VB called BLOCKENTPROPS
that does a great job. It lists all your blocks (even anonymous)
and allows you to select some or all. It then allows you to set
the color, line type and layer properties of all the graphic elements
inside the selected blocks. It does not offer any way to batch modify
the plot style or line weight properties though.

If I could find something that could let me get at modifying the
other 2 properties.  Especially plot style it would be a great help.

Does anyone know of a LSP out there that would let you modify
the plot style and/or line weight properities of all elements inside
a selected set of blocks.

Thanks much,
Steve

The command SETBYLAYER will change everything selected to, well... BYLAYER!  It even works with entities nested in blocks.
