Okay, I'm a Linux guy you already know I'm going to come down in favor of Ubuntu 9.10.. But, I actually like Windows 7 as well. Which lead me to the question, why do I still prefer Linux?
and that is pretty much all you need to know about that article. *sigh*

but then he mentions this jewel. LOL

Need to back up your system? Both can do that, but only Ubuntu has its own online back-up service, Ubuntu One, with 2GB of storage.

HAHAHA oooohh yay, 2GB! and online, too.  Fantastic.

TBH, I'm 100% indifferent, so far, between the two.  I use Ubuntu 9, and keep it mostly updated, and I'm still happy with Windows 7... add to the fact that getting much Linux-intendedsoftware to work requires more education, time, effort, and work... and well... there are things Windows -is- better at... through market share, monopolizing, whatever you want to call it.  /shrug

Autocad ain't gonna run on my Linux box, that's fo sho.  It's a factor.

And thats why I have Windows.  If I could make Autocad work easily, I would consider a switch
