What's this Sysbol?
« on: August 27, 2009, 09:58:20 AM »
We came across the dwg from and outside source. It is of an Air Handler.

What is this symbol? The one to the Left is a temperature.

Any ideas?

Smoke Detector?
Humidity sensor?

What are the others, temp sensor and static pressure?

Not a smoke detector, there is one just before it.

On the left is a temperature on the right is a duct static.

I really thought this would be an easy one for you folks.

- I still can't figure it out. (Watch it be something 'easy')

Contact the outside source and ask them what the hell it is.

I found that and it didn't have that symbol in it.  Of course it listed the 4 crossed lines as a differental pressure sensor too.

then it must be

a) Watermellon

b) Aromatherapy Scentalyzer

It looks a bit like paw prints...  Maybe it's a "Duct Monster Xing" sign.    :-)

Not on there.

But...

I think it IS an RH Sensor. - There isn't one on the entire unit, and that doesn't sound right for this application. So, I will go with RH Sensor.

Thanks for all of the replies / effort.

Now *thats* being client-focused - warning them about where the gremlins will be found.  Gets my vote!
