floating dimensions indicator?

hey i was pondering this thought this morning. would there be a way to write something that would put an indicator on dimensions whose extension line node is not on a given osnap. i have been working on a drawing that dimensionally looked correct but if you zoom in real close some of the dimensions nodes are not on the object. any thoughts? besides strangling the person who did this

I was never a big fan of strangulation.  I always admired drawing and quartering.  It makes a much better example out of the offending party.

But no, I can't think of anyway off the top of my head to do what you are asking.  However, if anyone here has an idea, I'd love to here it.

One could extract the nodes and compare distances with points obtained with the OSNAP function.

yeah madsen something like that. it could even be as simple as placing some sort of symbol on nodes that are not located at osnap points or floating.
