I posted this before, but nobody knew what I was talking about.

Xpath has vanished from 2005, does anybody know if there is a different version, I don't think so, as I think it was an express tools function.

It is really usefull for changing multiple xref path locations, i.e if moving xrefs from 1 folder or drive to another!!!

Try Reference Manager -- it's included with 2004+.

No that's just for xref's attached to the drawing you have open.

It is a tool that lets you list loads of drawings and shows the path's of the xrefs and then lets you change the paths.

I think it came with 2000 & 2002, has vanished in 2004 & 2005.

Och well, maybe it was an add on that don't work with the new language??

I just checked it was in the xpress tools in 2002. will have a closer look at the express tools with 2005.

If you look into the Reference Manager, you'll find it allows you to add as many drawings as you like, and do a find-replace on any of the selected paths. I use it all the time in 2004 for working with relative paths.

I have been a bit dense about this!!

xpath used to be accessessed within AutoCAD, therfore I assumed reference manager was as well.

However reference manager is a stand alone program which you access thro' the start menu!

This looks like the type of thing I need!
