Keith, in the help files under vba reference->methods, near the bottom xmlin and xmlout are referred to. You can't do anything with them without loading the tlb file for them, but the help info is there. What goes in the xmldatabase(object) argument?

What XML tlb are you using and what version of CAD?

2002 and axdbxml.tlb I think that's the only one in there.
