Did you revert back to the legacy MText editor?

I just searched for CTRL ENTER, and got a page called "Format Characters Within Multiline Text" that says:

To save your changes and exit the editor, use one of the following methods:
  • On the MTEXT ribbon contextual tab, in the Close panel, click Close Text Editor.
  • Click in the drawing outside the editor.
  • Press CTRL+ENTER.

Thanks sinc.  I found that too, but now that I've heard of it I want it to work!!!  I've griped about that (to myself) for YEARS and YEARS!!!

At least it works for Mtext... thanks again, J..ames.

What would I search for in the AutoCAD help files for what CTRL+Enter does?

I'm wondering if it's a variable I have turned off somehow...
It must be a "feature" in the Canadian version.
Just lube it with some ketchup.  Everything goes better with ketchup.
I + XI = X is true ...  ... if you change your perspective.

I no longer CAD or Model, I just hang out here picking up the empties beer cans
