Although you can make .net code in C++ I don't think you can mix and match as you want to do without some heavey duty coding.
Mind you, you can use winforms in C++, maybe that's a better way to go?

No MFC required, have a look here -> http://www.functionx.com/vcnet/index.htm

What you may have to do is write a mixed/managed dll to netload into acad instead of an arx but you still have all of the arx functionality at your fingertips, might be a better way to go, if not why not just use C# for all of your code, there's very little not exposed to .net these days.

Yeah, the learning curve with MFC is a little steep, Im trying to claw my way up it now.
Im actually starting to like MFC
If you want to use forms with Arx, just make a mixed mode application, or just use C# (as Mick says).
