Visual Studio 2010 setting that was making it so slow
« on: March 30, 2011, 11:22:53 PM »
I do not know if anyone is having this problem but when running VS 2010 I was having to shut it down 2 to 4 times a hour because after 5 minutes it keep getting slower to where I could type five letters and 10 seconds later they would show up or to move cursor with mouse would take 15 seconds etc.......

This seemed to of fixed it a setting 'Use graphic hardware acceleration.
Also on a 64-bit I did not notice a difference and the option did not slow it down and VS is 32 bit

hmmm ... I'll have to try that. I usually have speed issues whenever I change the file I am working in ... I figured it was simply a cache issue until I moved to Win7 w/ 4gb ram. It is still slow there too ...

Sorry I noticed I had 'enrich client visual expirence' turned off also, and if I turned it on it would start dragging again.
