Vista or XP?
Is the panel docked?
Can you send a screen shot of the whole app.

Is the editor written in .Net?  I have had this occur in XP (never had a chance to try it
in Vista) using DotNetBar from DevComponents and .Net.  The artifacts would occur
when scrolling, but where worse when scrolling using the mouse wheel.  I think I had
to override the scoll event for the grid control and refresh from there and I also seem
to recall the artifacts where worse/better based on the vertical size of the grid control.

not familiar anymore with opendcl... (it is an MFC as far as I know unless it is a new one)

have seen that, if you manually move or stretch the window, does it force a repaint?

The editor is written in MFC. I've noticed the problem a few times, but there are more serious problems with the property grid, so I've never bothered to tackle this one. I'm hoping to completely replace it at some point.
