you might want to try the ACAD commands mline & then mledit there are also mline styles...

do you need simple double line connection with fillet ?
or complete border street and advenced features similar to Torus ?

that software is pretty cool...would be a good project to try and create a lisp like that...

One could use MAP and create a Buffer Topology from the Centerlines....
