Need Feedback on Top 5 list

Hi guys,

I'm putting together Top 5 list for the new features in AutoCAD LT 2010 and could use some feedback. (I am not yet quite so egotistical that I think my opinion is the only one that counts. :wink:)

So, here's a list of the new features, in no particular order. (Obviously way more than 5 here, but choice is good.) Post back with your favorite 5...or at least which you think would be your favorites..I know which one's I'd pick, but I'm very interested to see which end up on your lists... :-)

1. Improved Ribbon
2. Application Menu (formerly the Menu Browser)
3. Improved Quick Access toolbar (easier to add/remove commands)
4. Test Block Window
5. Enhanced Attribute Editor (new to LT)
6. Synchronize Attributes (new to LT)
7. External Reference Tools (Open, Clip, REFEDIT -- new to LT)
8. PDF Underlays
9. Improved PDF Output
10. Improved Find Feature
11. Multileader Segment selection (to change arrow properties individually)
12. New text placement/direction options in dimensions
13. Sub-units in dimension styles (to show 0.75 as 75 cm)
14. Edit non-associative hatch boundaries
15. Launch color selection dialog from pull-down
16. See cursor when choosing layer/object color
17. Combined Measure Geometry command (see results graphically, see shading for area measurements)
18. Reverse line direction
19. Convert spline to polyline
20. Purge zero-length geometry & empty text objects
21. Rotate geometry along with viewport (instead of having to set rotation separately)
22. Align objects (new to LT)

These would be my choices although I did have a hard time prioritizing when I had eliminated all but 8.

6. Synchronize Attributes (new to LT)
8. PDF Underlays
20. Purge zero-length geometry & empty text objects
21. Rotate geometry along with viewport (instead of having to set rotation separately)
22. Align objects (new to LT)



Kate,

I have a hard time seeing this one as a new feature as opposed to more of a fix.  IMO :-)
