Is that possible to do "alignspace" in the model space?
« on: March 27, 2009, 12:46:52 AM »
The size of my dwg file is too large, and my computer is not that fast. Each time I want to to align the vps in the paperspace with objects in the modelspace, I have to activate those layouts one by one. It costs me so much time to switch layouts. Is that possible to do "alignspace" in the model space?  As I know, the express tool wouldn't allow me to do that.

Thx!

Can't answer your question directly, but there are 3 options available for caching
layouts and tabs.  At the command line type "option", select the system tab, and
look for the "Layout Regen Options" on the dialog.
Select (if not already) the "Cache model tab and all layouts".  This should provide a
boost in speed.

Another option to try if you have a Nvidia card is to go into "Nvidia control panel"
and set 3D setting image quality to "performance".  I doubt it will make a difference
but it only takes a couple minutes to try it out.
