Chainlink Fence Material Needed
« on: March 10, 2009, 02:05:35 PM »
Looking for something to map to a material for a chain link fence with opaque's for a render. I've looked for an hour now with no progress. Anyone?

There's one that comes with autocad. What version ya using?

Attached, in case you don't have it.

default path for bump map folder (texture map one level up) :
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2009\R17.2\enu\Textures\Bump

D'oh! No wonder I couldn't find anything on the net.

Thanks Jimbo.

It's cool.

I still find new things in that folder... it's one huge composte pile of a million different things, and sometimes the filename name-ology doesn't mesh with what I typically think of, and I miss some things.

I just knew this one, because I had used it before.

Whenever I need a map with transperancy... I go to the transperancy map folder first... that way I only see ones that DO have transperancy, and I don't have to sift through 80 different CARPET patterns trying to find what I want in a CMU block or something..

And I just realized I posted the bump map instead of the transparency/alpha map on accident.  ah well, you know where to find it, now, for sure.

I appreciate the gentle nudge.
