Noticed on autodesk website that there is a lisp routine for changing text to mtext within the express frolder in autocad 2004. I cant seem to find it can anyone help?

Load the expresstools into AutoCAD... at teh command line, you should be able to type Expresstools and/or menuload the Expresstools menu. The command is txt2mtxt or something like that...

I think if you install the express tools from the CD you don't need to load any menus, the setup  progrm will do it for you.

If you do need to load the menu (if you don't have the pulldown menu) the file you'll be looking for when using the "MENULOAD" command would be "ACETMAIN.MNU". Here is the path to mine...your username will be different...
C:\Documents and Settings\Dom\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2004\R16.0\enu\Support

Once you load Express Tools, you can type

txt2mtxt  at the command line and you are on

I converted mine to D2M.. Dtext 2 Mtext.. Use it all the time..

Did you do that in your .pgp file P?
Accelerators are cool too
I have an accelerator to start the windows calculator from within AutoCAD
