Topic: toolpalettes blocks not scaling correctly using annotative text & dims

i recently switched to annotative text and dimensions, but now when i insert blocks from toolpalettes, if a block was set to insert with a scale of 1 and an auxiliary scale of "dimscale" it will not come in correctly because you can't change the dimscale to anything but 1.

what do i do? i can't have all my toolpalette blocks just come in at 1 scale

i'm using c3d 2009 btw.

Make the blocks you want to scale also annotative:

All you have to do is opening the wblock and change the variable ANNOTIVEDWG to 1. After that save the block again and after redefining the block it will use the annoscale.

crank, that works great if each block is in an individual drawing and is just linework in it, but what if you just have 1 dwg with multiple blocks. i change the annotativedwg variable to 1, but it will not work.
is there a way around this, or do i need to just only use separate dwg for each block?

If all blocks are in one drawing, you must open each block with BEDIT.
Don't select anything! In the properties you can set annotative to yes.

You can also scale the text in a block if this text isn't annotative.
