Invisible objects on Default level

Hi,
I've only been using Microstation for a few months and therefore possibly missing something obvious, I  have a problem that I hope someone can help me with.
I have a number of drawings which have failed a CAD compliance check due to "objects on the default level", I've turned all the other level off but still cannot find any?
Any suggestions???????????

Could it be stuff in cells?

Hi,

It shouldn't be, all cells used would have come from a CAD standard compliant library, but I will check. Thanks.

I haven't touch MS in a lot of years so I could easily be way off base.
