Cycle between viewports (Ctrl + R) doesn't work
« on: November 12, 2008, 09:30:06 AM »
I'm running MEP 2008 and CTRL+R to cycle through viewports doesn't work.  It's supposed to, but it doesn't.  Does anyone know of any sysvars that may interfere with this working correctly or another way of cycling through viewports?

I was having problems with mine last week. I checked it was assigned in the CUI. When I closed out of the CUI it seemed to work just fine. I didnt change anything tho...
Thanks for explaining the word "many" to me, it means a lot.

I just added it to the CUI  (CTRL+R = ^V ) and now it works.

I don't know if there's a specific conflict with MEP but my MEP 2009 is fine... check in your CUI under Keyboard Shortcuts - Shortcut Keys - CTRL+R which should have ^V in the macro field... & of course CTRL+R in the key(s) field... it's just possible it's become corrupted.

... aha... just checked my MEP 2008 & sure enough it isn't in the CUI... I had to duplicate the CTRL+H entry & edit it as above.

I'm contemplating a phase out of 2008 in favor of 2009.
It loads faster and actually closes when I tell it to close.
Not to mention I'm still supporting Standards and folders for 2007 Vanilla through 2009 MEP.
Unfortunately the latest 2009 MEP Service pack does that lousy error code: 3010 on every workstation.
And NVIDIA still hasn't fixed their stupid CAD drivers to include the MEP version of AutoCAD.
I've been complaining to them for months about that.
