WANTED: Models: Hospital gear
« on: October 29, 2008, 01:52:50 PM »
Working on a personal project for shiggles involving a hospital room scene where I am going to need standard stuff like the defibrillator and IV bag/stand and hospital bed or gurney... other random hospital-specific furnishings... anything to make it nice and authentic, really.

I'm modeling the basic stuff first, like chairs, tables, lighting fixtures and all that stuff while I wait to see if I can get any help in not reinventing the wheel on some of the more complicated stuff.

Decent bit of detail required, but I'm semi-flexible...

Does anyone possibly have anything like this lying around?

I've sifted through cben.net for what I could, nothing on turbosquid.com is free, and I used up all my downloads on 3dcadbrowser.com and don't feel like paying the inflated price for more downloads... though I suppose there's something I could probably upload to them to unlock more downloads... *runs off to find*

Anyone that's able to help a brotha out?

Here's a 3D hospital bed from the Seek site.

YES!!

I totally forgot about that site, already!  *adds to bookmarks*

Thank you, I have found pretty much everything I was looking for...

I'm either going to have to find a way to convert Revit files to DWG, or see if I can use a DWF model decently enough.

I appreciate the offers.  I was hoping to find a permanent fix without having to bug someone, but I'll be sure to keep it in mind.

I'm on work time right now so I won't be working on personal stuff for a bit, but that hospital bed is a good model... it makes it into a bunch of polyface meshes, but they're faceted enough to look good at any distance I'd be using them for.

If this one could be converted, I'd appreciate it.

Turns out you have to have full blown Revit... no other converters exist that I saw, and many commented around saying you have to have Revit
