VB + Autocad Mechanical

Will a VB COM app for Autocad work in Autocad Mechanical with no modifications? I don't know enough about Autocad Mechanical other than it's mostly plain Autocad with some extensions added to it?

I would wager a guess as to so say "Probably".  You might need to change/add a reference or two, but if all you're doing is basic, core AutoCAD functions in Mechanical then you're probably pretty safe.

I use MDT daily, or at least start it from the desktop, and never use the MDT features - I run it as vanilla acad. Ive never run into a single problem, either with my own, or posted code
