is it anything to do with the linetypegen?

in enabled the linetype is the same dash length and gap all the way round, but if its disabled each segment will start and end with a line.

is that what you want?

The linetype gen is more common than others errors (well here anyway)
I was going with a process of elimination.  I was :)

(I think I got away with forgetting I'd posted that thread)

Can you use MLINE instead?

Tried the MLINE options....while the outside planted itself as a dashed line....the infill didn't.......and the issue of setting up the MLINE options existed...it was a cumbersome way to go about it......so that option was right out......
