CUDA - anybody experimented yet?

I downloaded the
CUDA
examples and SDK yesterday with a view to seeing how the new workstation we just got performs. I noticed that you can create programs for it, but that's waaaaay beyond my capabilities so I figured I'd see if any of you guys have experimented with it yet?
(In particular I was curious as to how a CUDA plugin might interact with Autodesk Inventor)
