I did a 2 year contract at Merck at one point, it was an interesting experience, sure saw a lot.
That is good that you like to mix it up, so to say; that seems indicative of certain types of people.
I tend to bore more quickly then others and generally don't do too well when things are routine for too long, professionally speaking, of course.

I grew up in a very Blue Collar neighborhood, so getting dirty and sweating our butts off were kind of a way of life.

What I was referring to with GIS was the CAD side of the technology, not being in the field gathering the data.
