A word of warning
« on: April 17, 2008, 01:45:34 PM »
I have quite a few lisp routines that need anywhere from minor cleanup to increased functionality, to complete rewrite.  My lispy skills were never crazy strong and have undergone lots of years of atrophy.  Prepare yourselves for ridiculous questions.

Those of us that frequent other forums are already prepared, as we deal with it on a daily basis.  At least we know you will be trying to learn it, and not just have us do it for you.

The great majority of LISP problems with newer versions of Autocad come from the use of
command functions. Although they simplify the lisp in most cases they leave the routine subject
to changes in the future.

Keep telling yourself that.

A lot of the routines we've got pretty much amount to interactive scripts in parenthesis.  I would like to eventually do away with the reliance on command but that will take some time and so drops down the priority list.
