C3D 2008 - question about import landxml
« on: March 19, 2008, 10:58:37 PM »
When importing a landxml file, is there a way to have C3D create those AECC_COGO_POINTs from which the surface is made from? If the answer is no, I guess I can make a PENZ/ENZ file with the landxml file and import points using that file.

Thanks.

I'm curious as to why you want those points?  The surface definition might also contain breaklines and or boundaries, which you wont get from the points. With that in mind if one attempts to recreate the surface from those points, there will be variations.

Thanks Michael. I actually don't have a specific reason for that. Was just curious why C3D doesn't give the user this option because the points are in the xml file.
