Topic: merging two boundaries

hello all,
It's me again.
I have two closed polygon's one beside another without touching.
these closed polygons are formed by single polyline.
I want to combine these polygon's programatically.

Is there any possibility to do this. It does't mean that all polygons' are parallel to each other. but they will be nearest to each other.
Any Ideas please.
