Elliptical Array

Anyone know of a way to array objects about an ellipse?  Measure won't work because the objects I need to array aren't blocks - they are MEP electrical devices, in this case, light fixtures.

Short of rolling your own, no. Can you wrap 'em temporarily in a block?
