Flip Parameter

Using attributes Right justified.  When I flip the DB I want those attributes to switch to left justified.  Is there a way to do that?

No. :-( (Unless the multi-line attributes in 2008+ can do it.)

I use visibility states w/ two sets of attributes for these...kind of a pain, but it works.

Can you have feild in one those attributes looking at the other attribute?
So as the user only enters information in one spot.
I + XI = X is true ...  ... if you change your perspective.

I no longer CAD or Model, I just hang out here picking up the empties beer cans

How do you change the value of the attribute - you'd have to switch vis states, edit the attribute, then switch vis state back.

Unless both attributes pointed to a third attribute on a non-plotting layer that you WOULD change.... but that just gets complicated and a bit messy...

Ooooh!  Ooooh!  What if... just go with me on this one... What if... you had an Excel document linked to the block's ID which linked to an external web page that held the attribute information.   And maybe... just maybe... you could edit the information from the web page.....  WITHOUT EVEN NEEDING AUTOCAD!!

Naaaahhhh......

We try to limit our attributes to a reference or one word so that we can center justify it, then we don't have this kind of problem.
