Text problems
« on: October 13, 2008, 06:12:03 AM »
I'm in the process of standards checking some drawings and I've come across a problem with some text in tables dimensions and dtext looking bold in some cases, but not in others.

What could be causing this? I have checked the Z and on each case the Z height is 0.

Many thanks in advance
T :)

text is less than 10000 units from 0,0.

Some text in tables and has the same problem too.

try changing the z value of all the text to some arbitrary figure, say 9999; then change it all back to 0 ?

Thanks Chortle, that worked for MOST of the text. I just had to redo some of the vertical dims, and job done.

Cheers

OK, I'm having more problems with text that wont look right.

I've tried and tried the moving into a +z and a -z and then back to z of 0 and I cant get it to change. So the next thing I tried is stripping the mtext (as it had been over-ridden, but I cant seem to get all the formats stripped out of the mtext. Does anyone know what the "code" pxqc is in mtext? See image below...  Or am I going completely mad, and that means nothing, and wont effect anything.

Many thanks AGAIN!
T :-)
