I would like to create a dynamic block.

This block would contain nothing more than a line or 2 of MText.

The user should be able to click on it and click I guess the lookup which would correspond to the scale of the title block it resides in.  So the selection of that lookup would rescale the size of the text to match the TB.

Then they should be able to edit the text to maye it "PLAN VIEW" or "ELEVATION" or whatever is applicable.

So first question is can this be done?
Second question should I just be using MText or should it be in there as an Attribute?

I'm interested in learning and using DB's but way unfamiliar with how to create them.

I'll respond in reverse order.

If you will be editing the text it will have to be an attribute.  You cannot edit mtext within a block.

I'll respond in a minute about the other.  Work is calling.

Yes I discovered that you can not edit mtext.

Problem I'm having with the attributes is that in using visibility states they do not seem to want to show up properly.  Or what I would want to perceive as properly.

I'll post mine shortly...

I have posted a reference tag for you to dissect.
